 Post subject: [Done] 2 hard drive question

problem I'm having now is in device manager under the disk drives, the use this device option
is greyed out for c drive but not for the g drive, and when I click on volumes for both drives they both say MBR, does that mean somehow both drives listed as the boot drive but the G drive is actually doing the boot. I just had the new hard drive put in (C drive) and the G drive is the old drive. The tech ghost the old drive onto the new drive

There is no problem. You're booting from the C: drive, the usage dropdown box is grayed out because you cannot disable it...you are booting from it. All is as it should be.

Oh really I never noticed that before that is was greyed out.

yes, on all the XP systems I recall, the boot drive is grayed out there.
